Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 September 2025

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of services provided by MendPhysio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking or receiving our services, visiting our clinic, or using our website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Scope of services

We provide physiotherapy and related services delivered by qualified practitioners. Treatment plans, expected outcomes, and duration may vary by individual needs and clinical assessment.

2. Bookings and cancellations

  • Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to other patients. A late cancellation or non‑attendance fee may apply.
  • We reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or refuse appointments where clinically appropriate or due to practitioner availability.

3. Fees and payments

  • Consultation and treatment fees are payable at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
  • Where available, we may support on‑the‑spot claims through HICAPS or accept insurer/third‑party payments. Any gap or declined amounts remain your responsibility.
  • We may adjust our fees from time to time and will communicate changes as appropriate.

4. Private health, WorkCover, CTP and NDIS

Claim eligibility and rebates are determined by your insurer, scheme, or plan manager. You are responsible for ensuring referral/approval requirements are met and for any outstanding balances not covered.

5. Clinical records and privacy

We maintain clinical records in accordance with applicable laws and professional standards. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.

6. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information relevant to your health and treatment.
  • Inform the practitioner of any changes in your condition, medication, or symptoms.
  • Follow clinical advice and exercise guidance as recommended for optimal outcomes.

7. Clinical disclaimers

Physiotherapy outcomes vary by individual. While we strive to provide evidence‑based care, we do not guarantee specific results. If you experience unexpected pain or adverse symptoms, contact us promptly and/or seek urgent medical attention as needed.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties (express or implied) regarding our services and website. Our liability for any claim is limited, at our option, to re‑supply of the services or the cost of re‑supply. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with the effective date above. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
